FUNDRAISING DINNER-SADAT’S CUISINE

The next special dinner to support a refugee couple coming to P.E.I. from Afghanistan is Saturday evening, August 11th.  This is a multi-course meal — with a choice of lamb, chicken, beef or vegan, with flavourful basmati rice and salad, all locally sourced, plus a decadent dessert.  Special features for this month: live music, outdoor seating, and a raffle of jewelry hand-crafted in Afghanistan.  The price is $30; two-thirds of that goes to the refugee-support fund.  Call 902-367-6631 or 902-213-7420 to reserve a time and meal-choice.  This is good eating for a good cause.
